ABOUT THE PRACTICE
I practice Sidereal Astrology, which uses the zodiac in relation to the actual position of the stars and constellations in the sky.
Unlike the Tropical Zodiac, which is aligned with the seasons, the Sidereal Zodiac accounts for the gradual shift of the sky over time known as precession. Because of this, your planetary placements may appear in different signs depending on which zodiac is used.
My approach to astrology is both a traditional discipline and a tool for thoughtful exploration. Rather than reducing a birth chart to a collection of personality descriptions, the goal is to understand how the different parts of a chart work together—and how those patterns unfold over time.
The approach draws from Western and Vedic astrology, incorporating traditional ancient principles alongside modern techniques such as natal interpretation, transits, dashas, progressions, synastry, composite and Davison charts, rectification, astrocartography, nakshatras, and other timing and interpretive methods.
A DEEPER LOOK AT THE CHART
A reading begins with the circumstances and questions that matter to you. From there, astrology can be used to investigate the underlying patterns, explore how they may have developed, and examine the periods in which particular themes become more prominent.
The emphasis isn’t simply on what a placement means, but on how the pieces fit together, why a particular theme may be appearing, and how its expression can change over time.
Astrology can describe challenging periods without reducing them to something inherently negative, just as favorable periods are not guarantees of a particular outcome. The chart provides a symbolic framework for understanding the terrain; how we navigate it is still our own.
STUDY, TRADITION & EDUCATION
This practice is grounded in continued study of both the techniques and traditions that have shaped astrology. Particular attention is given to understanding the principles behind an astrological technique rather than simply memorizing interpretations.
Education is an important part of this work as well. Through classes, workshops, and educational content, complex astrological concepts can be broken down into understandable systems—helping students develop the ability to interpret astrology for themselves.
